Editorial Policy
Last updated:
Osellpa publishes practical guidance for Amazon sellers alongside information about its software. This policy explains how we create and review that content, distinguish evidence from opinion and disclose the tools involved in publication.
Our editorial purpose
Our goal is to help sellers understand a topic, make a better-informed decision and identify a sensible next step. Content should answer the question promised by its title, use plain language, acknowledge meaningful limitations and avoid claims that cannot be supported.
How we create and review content
- Choose a seller problem. Topics should relate directly to Amazon profitability, advertising, listings, inventory, reimbursements, finance or operating an Amazon business.
- Research the current position. For time-sensitive rules and platform behaviour, we prefer primary sources such as Amazon documentation, official policy pages, regulators and first-party product evidence.
- Separate fact from recommendation. Facts should be attributable. Recommendations should explain the reasoning, assumptions and situations in which a different approach may be appropriate.
- Check the published page. We review structure, links, dates, claims and whether product descriptions reflect the functionality currently available to customers.
- Update material changes. Guidance may be revised when Amazon policies, Osellpa functionality or reliable evidence changes.
AI-assisted and externally produced content
Osellpa may use external research, content-production services, automation and AI-assisted tools to help identify topics, organise research, draft or format content. Some articles may be imported and published automatically through a configured provider workflow.
Using those tools does not lower our standard for accuracy. Automated output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so readers should verify time-sensitive Amazon rules against the linked primary source or Seller Central. We do not present generated text as personal experience unless that experience was actually supplied by the named author or Osellpa team.
Product and commercial content
Osellpa's website naturally explains and promotes Osellpa products. We should identify product capabilities accurately, avoid promising rankings, reimbursements, sales or advertising results, and distinguish live features from planned functionality. Comparisons should use a stated source or visible product evidence and should acknowledge material strengths of another option where relevant.
Authorship and responsibility
Content credited to the “Osellpa editorial team” is published on behalf of Osellpa Limited rather than as the personal view of a named individual. When a page contains named first-hand experience or specialist advice, we aim to identify the contributor and the basis of that expertise.
Sources, dates and links
Time-sensitive articles should show a publication date and, when materially revised, an updated date or correction note. External links are selected for relevance and evidence; linking to a source does not imply that the source endorses Osellpa.
Financial, tax and marketplace decisions
Our content is general information, not legal, tax, accounting or investment advice. Amazon rules and eligibility decisions can change and may vary by marketplace or account. Use the current official policy and seek a qualified adviser when a decision requires professional judgement.
Corrections and feedback
If something appears inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, follow our corrections policy or email support@osellpa.com.
