Corrections Policy

Last updated:

Accuracy matters because Amazon sellers may use Osellpa content to make operational and financial decisions. This policy explains how to report a possible error and how we handle factual corrections, clarifications and material updates.

How to request a correction

Email support@osellpa.com with the subject “Content correction”. Please include:

  • the URL of the page;
  • the wording, figure or section you believe is wrong;
  • why it is inaccurate or unclear; and
  • a primary source or other supporting evidence, where available.

What happens after a report

  1. We assess the claim. We compare the published wording with the evidence available and consider whether the issue changes the meaning or advice.
  2. We correct or clarify the page. Confirmed factual errors are changed. Ambiguous wording may be clarified even when the original statement was not strictly incorrect.
  3. We disclose material corrections. Where an error could materially affect a seller's understanding or decision, we add a visible correction or update note explaining what changed.
  4. We check connected content. If the same error may appear elsewhere, we search relevant product pages, articles and structured data for the repeated claim.

Types of change

Minor edits, such as spelling, grammar, formatting or a link repair, may be made without a correction note when they do not change the meaning.

Clarifications improve wording, scope or context. We add a note when the clarification is important to how a reasonable reader would interpret the page.

Material corrections address an inaccurate fact, date, policy, calculation, comparison or product claim that could influence a decision. These should receive a visible note and, where appropriate, an updated date.

What this policy does not cover

A difference of opinion is not automatically a factual error. We will consider well-supported challenges to our reasoning, but we may retain a recommendation when the evidence is accurately represented and the judgement is clearly identified.

Requests to remove accurate criticism, conceal a prior material error or change content solely because it is commercially inconvenient will not be treated as corrections.

Product information and urgent issues

If a page describes a product feature that is unavailable, behaves differently or could cause a seller to take the wrong action, identify that clearly in your email. Account-specific or security-sensitive details should not be posted publicly; send them through the help route.

Our commitment

We aim to make a justified correction promptly once the evidence is clear. Complex or time-sensitive issues may take longer to verify, particularly when Amazon documentation differs by marketplace or changes without notice.
